Because
of the Churchill Square shopping centre, the Brighton Centre, the lure of the
sea-front etc., getting to Saint Paul’s by car can pose difficulties in
parking if you arrive at a busy time. Aim
for the centre of Brighton and the Churchill Square car parks. These lead out
into Russell Road. Look for the
church tower and you can walk up Russell Place to the back door of S Paul’s,
which is in front of the vicarage. Most
times the traffic is busy, but especially before Christmas, during the Sales,
and weekends in the summer, when the queues are ridiculous. |
